Site specific performative interventions

Arteles Creative Center, Finland

In this series of performative interventions, I anthropomorphize nature by giving it human qualities and asking "what does nature want?" The photographs capture interactions between people, the Finnish countryside, and sculptural props including a floating vinyl eyeball, a pair of concrete eyes, a red cardboard stop sign, and a giant fuzzy sleeping mask.

The work was created while in residence at the Arteles Creative Center in Finland in June 2018.
